Gift given and gifts received
This bookmark was my Sinterklaas present for Erik, at least the crafty part of the present, the idea shamelessly stolen from Annemarie...
Stitched with Vikki Clayton floss "Konini", a wonderful gift from Carol and my first time using VC silk... Oh yeah, is all I can say... LOL!!!
And then the most wonderful and thoughtful gift was waiting fo me when I got home this Sunday. Mady sent me a Christmas package FILLED with comfort & joy... A beautiful Christmas ornament, I believe it's "Cardinal" (Bucilla), a VERY cute Owl bookmark and the most precious wallhanging which says: No-one truly dies... they live on in the hearts of those who loved them...
At the end of a rough year this precious gift means the world to me and helps us remember with joy. Thank you so much, Mady!!
