Home Alone 2: Lost in Stitching
A few weeks ago I sent this sweet flower to the wonderful Becky who inspires so many of us with her amazing kindness and her wonderful stitchings!!
Becky has not been well, so I hope this will help cheer her up. Get well soon, Becky!!Now I'm not sure what I've done to deserve this, but Andrea was kind enough to share the Brilliante Weblog award with me!! Thank you so much, Andrea!
Once again I'm kicking the rules to the curb, because there are so many original, creative, fun to read/watch blogs out there, they all deserve an Award!!Just before the lovely Erik ran off with the camera I snapped a picture of my latest Christmas ornament in the making. I was seeing so many lovely ornaments on various blogs, particularly all the lovelies being exchanged in the Christmas Ornament Swap, that my fingers started itching, and this is what happened!
The blue fabric was inspired by Jennifer/OH who stitched an Old World Santa on blue for me a couple of years ago and I just loved the combination of colours!!
I've already stitched another one of these Santa's, but won't be able to show it off until my sweetheart returns.
Happy stitching to you all and thank you for your visits and your comments!!

I just came across this La-D-Da freebie a few weeks ago. It's sitting here next to my computer as I try and figure out what fabric to stitch it on. Yours looks great and making it into a floss ring is a great idea! I know Becky will love it.

Your Rose tag is so pretty, I am sure Becky loved it. And you are right about the Santa on the blue fabric it just pops. Congrats on the finish. Happy Stitching, CJ

Rose turned out beautifully, I'm sure it helped cheer her up. Your Santa looks great too, and I do love it on the blue. I wouldn't have pictured it on that color linen, but it works wonderfully.
