Very Merry
Staci sent me a an awesome Christmas package with a beautiful ornament...
... and a teeny pair of scissors that's just so precious, with one of her very special "Staci Original" fobs!!
The pictures turned out a little dark, and perhaps I was a little silly hanging a pair of scissors on a tree, but trust me, it's all stunning!! Thank you, Staci!!
And thank you to all of you who have sent me such warm winter wishes through cards, comments and e-mails!!
Can you see the stitched card in the middle with the SanMan design...? Margaret made it for me, how sweet is that!!
I wish we would get a few "kisses from heaven" in our neck of the woods, then again I know quite a few of you have had too many of those kisses already...
White or not... have a Very Merry Christmas!

Christmas gifts!!
This week was made very special by some STUNNING thoughtful gifts from friends!!
First up is the beautiful Prairie Schooler ornament Mady sent me!!
These PS charts are such favourites with so many and I'm one of them!! Even Mady herself is now hooked, I read in her Cyberstitchers' Gallery... ;o)... It's gorgeous, thank you, Mady!!
And only a few days later Wendy sent me this lovely gift, isn't it sweet?!!
And such a great finish too!! It's from the JCS 2008 Christmas Ornament Issue. You are a sweetheart, Wendy!
Both ornaments have found the perfect spot on our tree... and though the tree changes every year, the gifts, ornaments and memories especially are treasured for ever!!
And as if that wasn't enough I treated myself to some stash recently and it arrived today... no picture, but three Literary Littles from The Sampler Girl that were missing from my collection, woohoo!!
I may not "see" you until next week, so...

Hideously beautiful
My fellow stitchers, may I introduce the stunningly gruesome, yet extremely lovable...
Deb told me she was worried about finishing Gertrude, but look at her!! There was absolutely NO need for that because she's hideously beautiful, scars, safety pins and all! I am particularly fond of her stringy hair... LOL!!! Her first task will be to protect me against the evil builders who our lurking around our house creating havoc and mayhem...
Deb also send me some lovely goodies AND an Ink Circles design called "Creepy Crawly"!! Here's Gertrude in a rather intimate moment with Lurch the Pen showing off the socks Deb included.
Gertrude, Lurch and I will be sending good thoughts your way, Deb!!! Thank you so much for your wonderful gifts!!!
