Odd Socks and Harriet
Let's start with the odd socks...
Aren't they fun? Obviously they're not finished-finished yet, but you can see where this is headed, right?!!! Since taking this picture I've stitched the remaining charts in the booklets... yes, that's 9 stockings in total, plus the Christmas stocking from the JCS Christmas Ornament Issue 2008. I am hooked, addicted and thoroughly smitten. Please tell me, has anyone seen a preview of the next three booklets (April, May, June)??? I'm just dying with curiosity!!!! Seriously, this is torture! I've already sent the first three booklets on to Staci who is about to become a sockoholic like me (I warned her, but she wanted them anyway), so I'm lost!In the meantime I've picked up my Village of Hawk Run Hollow again, Block 8, but I'm having a hard time adjusting to the pace after so many smalls and the instant gratification they provide. I love your stockings! You are doing an amazing job. Just imagine how Christmas will be with all your stockings adorning your tree, or whatever little devise you plan on hanging them from.

Those wee socks are wonderful! I'm not wearing socks today, we are having great warm spring weather. I showed someone the angel you stitched for me a while back and she just thought it the most wonderful piece. I still agree with her! Maria S.

Lovely! In my opinion, you're brave to do so many all at once (all that finishing!) but you are obviously wonderful with finishing so not a problem. Looking forward to seeing them!

I just love your collection of odd socks so far. I keep telling myself when I see great new things "No, you are on a stash diet...remember!" These look so great. Will you wait and finish them all at once? Harriet is so adorable. The carrot is fun. What a great gift that I am sure will be cherished and used well.

I'm about to call you "the sock monkey," Harmien!! :] Those are adorable little stockings. I'm wondering now what you're going to do with them...hmmmm. Can you possibly treat them as ordinary socks, or will you find something different to do??? :) Love your Harriet.
