New Kid In Town

Thank you so much for your words of kindness and comfort for our furry feline Kisse and ourselves!! She bounced back from her 'episode' more quickly than we did, she's a tough one, and we're still trying to catch up! Sadly her medication is for symptom relief only and we are determined to enjoy her for as long as we can! And we now includes this rather large chap!!

Meet 5 year old Guus who found us at the local animal shelter! He is a strapping lad who definitely needs a bigger cat bed than I have tried to knit for him... It's still in it's pre-felted stage, can you imagine how small it's going to be! Plus he likes to stretch out, so perhaps I need to make his a rectangular Kitty Pi... ;o) He has already shown a penchant for wool and he is displaying a natural talent for modeling my crafty things, I guess you'll be seeing more of him in the future!

Until next time!

I am so glad Kisse is doing better. I have a magazine to send you. I sent you an e-mail about it a while back, but I know your mind has been on other things.
Guus is lovely. I have a certain attraction to brown striped cats. My first cat in my own home was a stripey-brown, Speedy. And of course our wonderful Alix who was with us for 16 years. Guus looks a lot like Speedy, although quite a bit bigger. Do he and Kisse get along?
Look forward to many more kitty updates and photos.

Ooooh I am so happy to read that! Welcome to Guus!!! You just need to tell us more about him.
Too small, the bed? Just post it here! LOL (just joking)
BTW, thanks much for the link - even I was able to understand how to do it. Wool is so extremely expensive here so I'll try to make one once in Poland.

By the way, Guus seems to have similar eyes to my Toska... a lot in common but she's grown enormous now...

Guus is a sweetie! You certainly need a bigger pattern kitty bed although Guus doesn't seem to mind the size of the first one!

Oh! He's beautiful! I can just imagine his purring as you stroke his soft fur. I hope Kisse and he are getting along well.

I'm glad to hear that Kisse is doing better.

And welcome Guus! What a cutie he is. My parents had a cat that looked exactly like him and what a funny fellow he was ;)

Oh what a handsome young man Guus is! How do you pronounce that Harmien? Is it just like Gus in English?
He's a beauty and I'm sure he loves his sister Kisse.

Welcome to Guus! He is beautiful. Your Kisse--how sweet. She reminds me of my beloved Ginger June, who waits for us at the Rainbow Bridge. Give them some cuddles for us.
