It didn't take me long...

Despite my love of lists and schedules I threw my stitching rotation out the window. I needed some comfort stitching and La-D-Da's Now I Lay Me... was it! It didn't work... but I have a finish.

Quill aka sleeping beauty...

Ah! What a sweet little model with just the right saying too. I would fail at a planned rotation too. I am too much of an emotional stitcher. What I feel like it what I stitch. Great job on this beauty!

Hugs en groetjes ~

Got to love La-D-Da! And my approach is to skip the lists and head straight for the screaming rotation, so I'm with you there!

Hope your future stitching brings you comfort!!

Lovely work, Quill looks like he has found his sleep! :-)
Was wondering, have you ever seen a pattern for "Ik will slappen, ik ben mooie..." My mother taught it to me when I was little. She taught me another one for bed that is more a funny thing then a prayer, it was something like "Neus in de kussen, neus in de veren, morgens wij eten lekker peren eten." Please excuse my poor attempt at Dutch. - Theresa

How did you get your cat to sleep next to the piece? Mine would be right on top of it! Great finish!
